The Journey:

  • Following a spiritual path since the age of 15, Thay Thich Tam Tien studied elementary and intermediate Buddhist studies in Vietnam, then earned a bachelor's degree in Thailand before studying for a master's degree in the United States. To secure admission to the two most prestigious universities in the world, Thay shared that he meticulously prepared his application with his bachelor's and master's transcripts, recommendation letters from professors, GRE and IELTS scores, and especially a purpose statement, which set him apart from other applicants in winning a full scholarship.
